About UnixPulse
Hi there 👋 — glad you stopped by.
UnixPulse is a simple space where I document what I learn about Linux, VMware, and building websites. Think of it as my public notebook—notes I take while figuring things out, written in a way that might help someone else on a similar path.
What You'll Find Here
Mostly practical stuff:
- Linux tutorials — from basics to server setup and administration
- VMware guides — virtualization tips and troubleshooting notes
- Web development — building and deploying simple, static websites
- Tools & resources — things I've made or found useful along the way
Why "UnixPulse"?
Unix systems have this rhythm to them—processes running, logs flowing, systems humming along. The "pulse" is that steady heartbeat of a well-configured system. It's also a reminder to keep checking in, keep learning, keep that curiosity alive.
The Philosophy
I believe in keeping things simple. Not everyone needs a complex CMS or a heavy framework. Sometimes a clean HTML page deployed to a free host is exactly what the job needs. That's the approach I take here—both in what I write about and how this site is built.
This site is just HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript. No build tools, no dependencies, no database. Hosted for free on GitHub Pages with Cloudflare. Simple, fast, and easy to maintain.
